Englewood, CO – The Professional Association of Colorado Educators (PACE) is pleased to announce that Troy Yanel, the Music Teacher for Laradon Hall Society for Exceptional Children and Adults, has been awarded a $396 grant. Laradon's Alternative School provides a unique educational environment to students from all over the state of Colorado who have a dual diagnosis; that is, they have an IQ of 70 or below and a co-existing psychiatric/ behavioral disorder.

AAE-PACE Announce Tuition Discounts for Members

Twice a year, the PACE Foundation is proud to offer scholarships and classroom grants to Colorado's teachers! The next deadline is March 1, 2014.

Teachers can apply for funding, up to $500, for a variety of classroom projects, supplies, technology, or other materials that will help improve the educational experience of their students. Teachers can also apply for funds to help pay for professional development or other endeavors they pursue to improve their craft as teachers.

Announcing PACE’s Fall 2013 Scholarship and Grant Recipients

We’re proud to recognize the recipients of our fall 2013 Scholarships and Grants, with 14 teachers each receiving funding for varied educational projects and pursuits.

The Professional Association of Colorado Educators Foundation is committed to offering individual educators various avenues for improving their effectiveness and student outcomes. Our scholarships and grants provide teachers with funding to pursue additional teacher trainings, attend workshops, or specialized conferences, while our classroom grants are offered to educators to supplement the costs of student-focused projects or activities. These awards are made available to all educators, regardless of membership status in the organization.

The Association of American Educators has awarded a classroom grant to LaWanda Brewer, deaf and hard-of-hearing teacher at Becky-David Elementary in St. Charles, Missouri. The grant supported bringing deaf storytellers Peter Cook and Nina Wilson to students in the Francis Howell School District to celebrate the St. Louis Storytelling Festival.  Continue Reading...

Englewood, CO – The Professional Association of Colorado Educators (PACE), the state’s only non-union teachers association, is pleased to announce that it has awarded ten scholarships for PACE members to attend the Rachel’s Challenge Summit – "Soar to New Heights, Renew Your Mind, and Inspire Your Heart” in Denver, June 23 – 26, 2010. PACE’s contribution of nearly $3,000 will cover the full fee for ten Colorado educators to attend the event.   Continue Reading...
