“This opportunity to attend the Screening for Dyslexia seminar will allow me to better answer questions for parents wondering if their child has dyslexia, and I will be able to provide a much-needed service at our school,” wrote Ms. Wagner in her application.

The funds will be used to help cover the costs of attending a Screening for Dyslexia seminar.

“PACE is excited every year to award scholarships and grants to such worthy recipients,” stated membership director Charity Smith. “We are so grateful for Colorado’s dedicated educators, and students will benefit the most as these teachers receive new resources for the classroom.”

PACE provides thousands of dollars for scholarships and classroom grants to Colorado teachers each year.  Classroom grants help pay for class projects and supplies, and scholarships are used to cover a wide variety of expenses including tuition, books, conferences, and workshops for teachers.  The next application deadline is October 1, 2015.
