Reform Matters: August 2014

National Employee Freedom Week (NEFW) is a national effort to inform union employees about the freedoms they have to opt out of union membership.

This year, founding partners AAE and NPRI are proud to have joined forces with 81 other organizations in 45 states to help get the word out. Together, these organizations are helping teachers and other union members make more informed decisions about whether or not union membership is right for them.

Teachers come to AAE every day with questions about their rights and the benefits of non-union alternatives. That's why NEFW's national coalition is taking the initiative to educate teachers across the nation so that they can make choices that both advance their profession and align with their values. It's not too late to spread the word! Visit theNEFW website to share information, stories, and polling numbers with your networks using the hashtag #EmployeeFreedom!
