PACE Co-hosts Event to Discuss Improving Teacher Retirement
posted by: Tim | October 07, 2014, 05:05 PM

On a recent PACE survey, 88% of teachers indicated their support for the ability to choose, instead of the current PERA model, to have their money invested in a portable account that they can take with them should they move out of the state or change careers.

In addition to those survey results, we received an outpouring of stories from teachers who have had their retirement prospects devastated by the current, one-size-fits-all retirement system in Colorado. Due to this overwhelming response, PACE recently partnered with a diverse coalition to start a conversation about improving Colorado's retirement system for all teachers.

We encourage you to attend an upcoming event and BE A PART OF THIS CONVERSATION! Your voice is the most important voice at the table. Please come join us!
