The Professional Association of Colorado Educators (PACE) is pleased to announce that Ms. Melissa Ellenberger, teacher at Rocky Mountain Classical Academy, has been awarded a scholarship to attend the annual Colorado Music Educational Association Professional Development conference.

“Every year, I come away from conferences with my batteries recharged and I always find new methods to try in the classroom,” said Ms. Ellenberger.  “Conferences are an important way to meet with fellow educators, discuss local events, find out about new opportunities and create camaraderie among educators.”

“PACE is proud to present the scholarship to such a worthy recipient,” stated Dr. Kris Enright, PACE Executive Director.  “Students will benefit greatly from such a dedicated teacher."

Don't forget to apply for the next round of scholarship and grant opportunities. Teacher scholarships and classroom grants are competitive awards available to all educators. Apply online or by mail to receive up to $500 for professional development or classroom materials. The spring deadline is March 1, 2011.
