Educator Professional Liability Insurance
Members of the Professional Association of Colorado Educators each receive their own personal $2 million professional liability insurance policy. This benefit is provided through our national affiliate, the Association of American Educators (AAE).
PACE member insurance is administered by the Forrest T. Jones Company through the Trust for Insuring Educators (TIE). The Trust for Insuring Educators (TIE) was established more than 30 years ago to provide insurance for smaller educational associations who wanted protection for their members. These associations lacked large numbers of members and, consequently, buying power. TIE made it possible for smaller associations to pool their resources and memberships to create a large enough base to secure competitive insurance plans and rates. Today, dozens of educational associations comprise the Trust for Insuring Educators and association members throughout the country enjoy the benefits of greater purchasing power, excellent product selection, and superior customer service.
Member insurance includes experienced legal representation and financial protection in the event of allegations that may result from working in a complex and dynamic school environment.
